The Kindergarten Museum
The Kindergarten Museum, maintained by the Ebeneser Foundation, is located in the Sörnäinen district of Helsinki. In the museum, you will discover a century of activity in the Ebeneser Kindergarten. There is room to play and build in the kindergarten’s large hall. The museum contains things to discover and do for children and adults alike.

The museum is open on Wednesdays from 12 to 6 p.m., and by prior arrangement on other days for groups. Approximately once a month, the museum is also open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Admission is EUR 4, EUR 2 for students and pensioners. Admission is free for under-16s.
A single kindergarten group visit is a guided tour which takes approximately 90 minutes. The museum can admit a maximum of 12 children at a time. The price for the tour is EUR 15 per group, adults included.
Student visits for educational institutions are guided museum tours, which offer a comprehensive introduction to the history of Finnish early childhood education, kindergarten work, and the Ebeneser Foundation. The tour lasts for approximately 90 minutes and costs EUR 2 per person + EUR 25 for the guided tour.
Other groups of adults are also welcome!
The Museum Shop
The Museum Shop is open during the museum’s opening hours. Books and postcards on the history of kindergarten work, beadwork and building blocks are available in the museum store.
